描述:Epitheloid cell line derived from the ileum of an adult histocompatible miniature maleoar. Transformed by SV40 plasmid pSV3-neo. Electron microscopy analysis showsevidence of microvilli and desmosomes connecting cells. The cells were found to co-express cytokeratin 18 specific of simple luminal epithelial cells and vimentinassociated with a mesenchymal origin. Susceptible to Transmissible Gastro- enteritis(TG) virus.
